Born and raised in Memphis TN, Derrick served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force leading $25M+ operations and cross-functional teams across five bases and three deployments.
Now as CEO of Purpose Driven Solutions, he brings that same mission mindset to the federal contracting space—combining military precision, strategic leadership, and faith-rooted purpose to deliver real value.
Derrick is passionate about building generational impact through service, excellence, and partnership. When he’s not focused on the mission, you’ll find him spending time with his wife Kayla and their children, leading their family just as intentionally as he leads their business.

Kayla, originally from New Orleans LA, brings 6 years of military logistics and operational planning experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer at PDS. Her sharp attention to detail and heart for service ensure every contract is handled with care, compliance, and excellence.
As a spouse, leader, and mother, Kayla understands the importance of systems that support both people and performance. She leads daily operations, payroll, and workflow design to ensure PDS remains efficient, scalable, and values-aligned.
Together with Derrick, she’s committed to building a business that honors their faith, supports their family, and empowers others to walk in purpose.
